I was stoked to find that Green Leaf Sushi has opened a second location in Burnaby called Green Leaf Cafe. This restaurant has the popular aburi oshi as well as new cafe style items such as omurice and pasta. Here’s a look at my first dinner at Green Leaf Cafe.
I’m so excited that nana’s green tea, a Japanese cafe specializing in matcha or green tea sweets, is opening their first Canadian location in Vancouver, BC! Located in Kerrisdale, nana’s green tea Canada is opening on June 6, 2018. Here’s a sneak preview of the cafe’s signature items!
We stumbled upon the Chef’s Playground Eatery when searching for a place for lunch. This little restaurant is right at the heart of Steveston Village in Richmond, BC. With so many restaurants in the area, you might walk by this hidden gem without realizing it! Their unique signature drinks and well executed West Coast dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. We loved our meal and will definitely come back to try their brunch and dinner. Take a look at what we ordered for lunch during our first visit.
I first heard about Dundas Eat + Drink through Instagram. This modern Asian fusion restaurant is probably best known for their Six O Pho challenge where you can get a massive 5lb pho. Since we’re both light eaters, Mr. Chau and I opted for the standard size noodle soups. We also tried one of their vegan appetizers which I fell in love with!
The Sublime Ruby KitKat is the world’s first chocolate bar made from ruby chocolate. Luckily, I was able to buy some during my visit to Tokyo. They were sold as individual bars at the KitKat Chocolatory for ¥432 (tax incl.). Here’s a video of me unboxing the Sublime Ruby KitKat and tasting it for the first time.
